Please visit our Guest Page so I can get an insight to who actually looks and reads this site thank you.
We spoke with various people over the age of 18 with Special Needs across Hartlepool and found there was little or nothing for them to do on certain evenings. That's where the idea for our club came from.
Kev's Klub is Self Sufficient none profit voluntary group that does not rely on funding, we are not backed by any governing group or company, all monies raised each week goes back into the club the following week.
We are based in the community centre within the grounds of Newholm Court, off Ormesby Road. At the front of the building there is ample room for parking with easy access into the centre.
The centre is disabled friendly with facilities on ground level and a disabled toilet. Activities now include a variety of things to do for instance we have indoor bowls, pool, bingo, table games, and dominoes.
You can either come along on your own or with your carer depending on your needs.
Please check out the LINK section to see who has been involved with Kev's Klub over the years. Thank you guys.
PLEASE check the blog section for when the club is closed
and future events.
There is always a fully qualified Senior Social Care Support Worker on hand if required.
Why not give us a try; we are open 6pm - 9pm every Wednesday.
Membership is £4 per year with a £1 payable upon entry where you will be given a raffle ticket for the chance to win 1 of 3 prizes.
You can take part in various activities or just sit and relax in our friendly atmosphere.
Kev's Klub is not a place where you have to do things but more of a social club for members to socialise and make new friends, it is also a place for carers to chat and relax.
offering light refreshments at a low fee.
Easter, Halloween and Christmas is usually party time with disco, buffet or pie and peas night. There is usually plenty of big raffle prizes on offer.
Kev's Klub is completely run with voluntary staff, all monies received goes back into funding for prizes, cafe and new games and activities.

For whom without their support the club would not be able to open Thank you.
We wish to thank Manor Residents Association for Kindly letting us use their centre for 7years, (Sept 2005 - June 2013) and wish them every success in their future.
(Manor Residents Association is a voluntary group managed entirely by local residents from the Owton Manor area of Hartlepool. The Association was set up in May of 1989 in order to combat the growing concerns and problems that existed in the area at that time. Over its lifetime, the Association has continued to play a key role in the delivery of initiatives and activities, which have been designed to benefit families living in the area).
We would also like to thank HVDA for their very kind support in helping us to find funding, which I am pleased to say we won an award from the Community Chest to purchase a new Karaoke Machine, light effects and enough karaoke songs to last a lifetime. (Dec 2009).
Places are limited due to space but if you require any more information on attending, volunteering or donating prizes please contact: -
